Negative emotions felt: Jealousy
Positive emotion developed: Unconditional love
Holly is the Bach flower corresponding to those who sometimes experience deep suffering, prey to feelings of jealousy, suspicion, revenge or envy. By his nature, the "Holly" type has a great need for love and is therefore aware of the importance of this feeling, this characteristic however makes him particularly exposed to a profound unhappiness, without a real reason, when he does not feel his need for love satisfied. This leads to jealousy, envy of those who seem to be the cause of this frustration.
Holly promotes a sense of love and understanding for others. It therefore invites you to develop the virtue of unconditional love, that is, the ability to express a selfless feeling towards others, which ends up satisfying yourself. It silences that sour voice that pushes you to measure yourself continuously with others and to suspect them. Develop self-esteem, eliminate and lessen negative feelings.
Oriundo from southern China and the Alps, this perennial tree or shrub with shiny leaves, always green, and with deep red berries grows in the woods and at the borders of the spots. Male and female flowers are white, slightly fragrant and usually bloom on plants other than April to May. It is a well-known plant, widespread Christmas ornament with red berries, with leaves with sharp thorns until they are young.

They are prepared by the "Method in the sun": the flowers are collected on the spot without being touched with the hands and, cutting them with scissors, the buds are dropped into a 300 ml fine glass container filled with pure water, taking care to cover the surface of the bowl with them. Then they are left to macerate in the sun for 4 hours, in this way the sun would transfer the vibration of the flower to the water below. After this period, the water of the flowers is filtered with a paper filter in a 1 liter bottle adding an equal dose of cognac (or brandy), which is used for storage. The liquid obtained is called Bach flower mother tincture. On the market you do not find the mother tincture but the product diluted in water and brandy.
